UMA Solar Engineering Department has 40 years cumulative experience in designing solar pool, electric and water heating systems, sealing plans, testing all solar products, evaluating new and existing products offered within the UMA Solar envelope. UMA Solar is very familiar with working remotely from our main office, providing technical support and training for all new and existing dealers throughout all 50 states.

Our engineering department is multi-licensed and multi-disciplined and is capable of working with all UMA Solar dealers on their site specific design projects. Emphasis has been providing leadership skills to joint ventures with companies in pursuit of the following:

• Design / Analysis with supporting CAD based drawing for structural, mechanical, electrical and Plumbing discipline
• Preliminary mock-up drawings are available for early stage feasibility estimates
• Pipe sizing, flow rates, fluid velocities and pump recommendations can be offered to assist in overall system design
• Supervise product testing when required for State or National Notice of Acceptance (NOA) or certifications
• Design services to our manufacturing division for domestic/pool solar collectors and racking systems for both residential and commercial product lines
• Stay motivated, organized, customer-service oriented and team oriented
• Design services include building and site design support, environmental assessments and impact studies
• Prepared and presented on behalf of the client testimony at hearing both public and private
• Certified industrial equipment and attachments through manufacturers per OSHA requirements
