  • I live in an HOA, do I need to get approval from the board?

    In some states, HOA approval is required. For Florida residents, Florida law forbids ordinances, deed restrictions, covenants, or similar binding agreements from prohibiting solar use. However, it is recommended (as a courtesy) that you contact the board to let them know you will be installing solar.

    California residents have the Solar Rights Act to help them overcome challenges of solar installation.
